Soon enough, people began encouraging him to open up a restaurant to share his wings with the rest of the community.

Because it only just opened in October of 2022 and it's located in one of the most unassuming spots possible, an Exxon gas station on West Main Street in Lexington, it's easy to drive right by and not even realize the local gem you're passing.

When you step inside, Wing Man, one of the best restaurants in Lexington, you'll see the menu on a chalkboard to your left. There's a small table with a couple of chairs if you want to eat the wings right there as soon as they're done. But most people order their wings to-go.

Only a couple months after opening, customers were already requesting additional flavors. Wing Man obliged and added two new ones: lemon pepper and teriyaki.

You can get fresh cut fries with your wings, if you'd like. They have a little bit of spice to them.

You also can get a side of delicious, homemade ranch for dipping. Call ahead to place your order if you want to avoid a wait, as this is not a fast food joint.
