South Carolina has been home for AnneMarie since 2001. Her favorite part of the state is Lake Jocassee. An App State alumna, it's always the mountains; the lake bonus makes it heavenly. When not writing about the state, she may be spending time with family, relaxing by the pool, or out somewhere enjoying nature.
Denny’s, formerly Danny’s Donuts, Danny’s Coffee Shops, and then Denny’s Coffee Shops before finally settling on its current name, has been around since 1953 when the first Danny’s Donuts was opened in Lakewood, California by Harold Butler and Richard Jezak. Denny’s started franchising in 1963, and most Denny’s restaurants are now franchisee-owned. Its headquarters moved from California to Spartanburg in 1991, but the most unique Denny’s in the world is actually in Columbia!
Have you ever been to this most unique Denny’s in the world, by chance? Places like this are always better in person.
