Are there any waterfall restaurants in Ohio?
While the above list of best day trips in Ohio combine some amazing waterfall hikes and restaurant pairings, there's a restaurant in Ohio where you can actually dine while enjoying beautiful waterfall views! The Historic Clifton Mill is one of the Buckeye State’s most celebrated treasures, and a favorite spot for hiking, photography, and outdoor adventures. But to really enjoy the wondrous waterfalls of this Ohio landmark, you’ll want to sit down for a meal at the eponymous Clifton Mill Restaurant. If you’re looking for dinner with a view, it doesn’t get much more extraordinary than this waterfall restaurant in Ohio.
What are the best places to get a burger in Ohio?
The Buckeye State has an amazing culinary scene, and burgers are one of our specialities. In Cincinnati, Zip's is a perennial favorite that's known for its deceptively simple yet oh-so-delicious Zip's Burger. The ambiance of this little restaurant is part of the experience, with low lighting and worn wood booths setting the scene for a totally amazing meal. Ritz's is another burger behemoth in the Buckeye State, and they offer so many different varieties that you'll want to visit this Columbus institution many times! And if it's a beast of a burger that you're craving, The Thurman Cafe delivers every time. While pretty much any burger on the menu is amazing, the restaurant's cheekily named Thurmanator is the restaurant's signature, larger-than-life hamburger. Several pounds in weight, it's not for the faint of heart. This epic burger includes two 12-ounce patties, mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, banana peppers, bacon, cheddar, sautéed onions, mushrooms, hams, mozzarella, and American cheese. Burger cravings satisfied!
