9 Reasons Why Wyoming Is The Most Underrated State In The US
Much of America is forgotten by those who only find themselves flying coast to coast. While the big cities of California, the Pacific Northwest, and that whole east coast Megalopolis are worth visiting, if you stick to the dense states, you’re really missing out. Read below to see a few reasons that Wyoming is the most underrated state in the country.

No matter where you are in the state, you'll find stunning windshield views waiting for you. From the mountains, to the great divide basin, to the desert and even high prairie, you'll find stunning views out here.

While other states shut down over blizzards, we're just getting started. Skiing, sledding, snowmobiling and more are the thing we do to get out and use all that snow the skies bring us.

Wyoming is full of open range. Ranchers still work cattle alongside busy highways, the state sport is still Rodeo, and you're more likely to find some worn down cowboy boots from ranch work out here than almost anywhere else. The only thing we're missing in the outlaws.

Even if you claim to hate Yellowstone, it's impossible to hate Yellowstone. We've taken the most inhospitable environment in the country and turned it into a stunning display of nature's power. It truly is breathtaking.

There's no question that Wyoming was settled in an unsettling way. While much of the land here was taken in violent, US Army raids and Native blood was shed on these lands, we've at least learned a bit of a lesson. Native sites like the Medicine Wheel are now protected, we've named the Chief Joseph byway after the famous Nez Perce leader, and several museums tell the plight of those whose land was stolen by our ancestors.

First National Monument? Devils Tower. First National Park? Yellowstone. First National Forest? Shoshone. We're pioneers in more than one way.

With millions of acres set aside as open range, and millions more being used as cattle ranches, it's no wonder you can find some of the best beef in the world out here. Plus, with game meats such as elk and bison in good supply, it's easy to enjoy a delicious meal that would delight any carnivore.
