6. Heart Mountain Relocation Center Interpretive Museum
Heart Mountain is a unqiue geologic wonder in Wyoming, and in its foothills, one of the darkest periods in American history came to life. This site is the location of a Japanese Internment camp, where Americans were detained based on fear and xenophobia, under the false cover of national security. Visit this site today to learn from the terrible mistakes of our past, and you might notice the spirits that still haunt this place. Now that it's a museuma nd interpretive center, it's worth a visit.

One of the most incredible scenic drives in the world is tucked away in the heart of Wyoming. Drive the Chief Joseph Scenic Byway. Follow this 46 mile route from the Beartooth Highway down into Cody for a delightful drive.
