If you spend any amount of time in Wyoming, you’ll soon notice just how welcome the locals make you feel, no matter where you go. There’s a lot to discover in each of our towns and cities, so get out there and explore! One small town in Fremont County, Lander, is known for being particularly welcoming. Plan a trip to see for yourself.
There is so much to do and see when you take the time to visit Lander!
The Park is named after a strange natural phenomenon. One part of the Popo Agie River disappears into an underground cave (the Sinks), only to emerge again downstream (the Rise).
In addition to the year-round attractions, the Lander Chamber of Commerce supports events that bring thousands of visitors to town and locals show off true hospitality.
