Wyoming is a pretty unique state, and those of us who either grew up here or have lived here can agree there’s no place like it. One thing that’s always been a little strange to outsiders is that Wyoming is home to only one four-year university, while every other state has at least two. Well, America, we don’t need more universities in Wyoming because UW is already one of the best colleges in the US.

Grand Teton National Park
Located in the northwestern part of the state, Grand Teton National Park is one of the most popular national parks in the U.S. The scenery is beautiful, wildlife viewing opportunities abundant, and the hiking trails are world-class.

Devils Tower National Monument
Made famous after being featured in the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind, this majestic rock formation features a paved, 1.3-mile that meanders around the base of the tower. Rock climbers from all over the world also flock to the monument to try their hand at scaling its steep, rugged facade.
