Yellowstone National Park is a treasure, and Wyomingites are lucky to live so close. However, nobody really likes fighting crowds to see the typical sights, so plan a trip where you avoid Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic, and Mammoth, and instead find Undine Falls – a stunning hidden triple cascade in northwestern Wyoming.
The stunning triple cascade of Undine Falls is most frequently accessed from Grand Loop Road, where you can see the falls after a quick walk away from the turnout.
The view of Undine Falls from the top is one you won't soon forget! This breathtaking waterfall crashes sixty feet down into the pool below, with three separate cascades.
You’ll find the roadside view just a short walk from Grand Loop Road’s Undine Falls turnout, south of Mammoth Hot Springs. For the longer trail though Lava Creek Canyon, see the AllTrails map here.
