The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River is one of the natural wonders of the world, and we’re lucky to have it right here in Wyoming. For a unique look at this incredible place on earth, take Uncle Tom’s Trail to the base of the Canyon for an unforgettable experience.
Uncle Tom’s Trail is located in the Canyon Area of Yellowstone National Park. While Yellowstone is overrun with crowds and tourists from Memorial Day to Labor Day, Fall is the perfect time to visit. The cooler weather makes hiking easier, but still remember to bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and layers. Weather in Wyoming can change in the blink of an eye, and you don’t want to be caught unprepared.
