If you’re the type to want to stay away from crowds, you can always find a tiny Wyoming town to welcome you in! Make plans to see the rural outpost of Clearmont, where you’ll be welcomed into a small community that thrives in the middle of nowhere.
Clearmont, Wyoming is a tiny town in Sheridan County that's home to just about 150 people. Despite its small size, it's packed with charm, history, and a strong sense of community.
The scenery here is gorgeous, and you can expect to see plenty of ranches and vast landscapes if you head out here to visit. If you think you've heard of this town before, it could be because it was the main location of the classic Western Powder River!
Clearmont is packed with history. The town's first jail is still standing and you should check it out! It was built in 1922 to hold bootleggers and other criminals.
Today, many people who live in Clearmont are involved with the local church. Clearmont Community Church holds services frequently and hosts many town events.
