Wyoming is home to some of the best winter activities in the world, and it’s no surprise that our state swells with adventurers looking for snowy thrills and icy climbs as soon as the weather turns chilly. For those who love snowmobiling in Wyoming, one of the best destinations is tucked into the foothills of the Snowy Range Mountains – the tiny town of Centennial.
Every winter, nearly 300 inches of snow falls in the aptly named Snowy Range Mountains.
A tiny town called Centennial is the gateway to the Snowy Range, and if you like getting out on your sled, this is sure to become your own slice of heaven.
Pack layers, as the Snowy Range gets very cold, and you don't want your trip to be cut short! Be sure to keep an eye on your fuel level, too, as these trails are some of the most remote in the state.
If Mountain Meadow Cabins seems like your ideal remote getaway, read about this Affordable Mountain Getaway destination and plan your winter excursion.
