Sometimes, it’s the hidden gems that you find when you’re out and about that will make you fall in love with the Cowboy State all over again. One of these tucked away treasures is a short Wyoming trail that brings you down into then Open Canyon of the Snake River along the Lunch Counter and Big Kahuna rapids.
If you're looking to find a short and exciting little trail, keep an eye out for a hidden turnout on WY-89 between the Sheep Gulch Boat Ramp and Wolf Creek Campground.
The short trek takes you down to the Snake River, where you'll be able to watch boaters and surfers navigate one of the most famous sets of rapids in Wyoming.
