Wyoming may be a landlocked state, but you can still find delicious, fresh seafood if you know where to look. The best little seafood shack in the state is hiding in a small town where you would never expect to find gourmet salmon and mouthwatering chowder.
Afton, Wyoming is a tiny town in the Star Valley that's known for an enormous antler arch, and for wonderful hiking in the nearby forests.
Fresh seafood is regularly flown in to Rocky Mountain Seafood from Seattle. World famous fishermen proudly ship off their catch to this tiny Wyoming dining room.
Once the seafood is here, the chefs at Rocky Mountain turn it into culinary art! These crabcakes are so good, you'll wonder if you've accidentally arrived in Delaware.
They're also known for their flavorful grilled salmon. Order it with fresh, hand-cut fries to taste a coastal meal that's sure to delight your tastebuds.
Their menu changes based on what's in season, and what's come in to port. Typically, you can find tasty shrimp, oysters, ahi tuna, and other classic dishes. Their calamari is a local favorite.
