Sinks Canyon State Park is a remarkable place in Lander that's worth a visit any time of year.
This quiet park in Wyoming sits on 600 acres and draws in nearly 200,000 visitors a year, but it's considered a bit if a hidden gem when you compare it to our nearby National Parks that attract millions of nature-loving visitors.
The park does have some interesting manmade features, like this nerve-wracking swinging bridge, and quaint Yurts that are available to rent all year long.
The Canyon and Park are both named after a unique feature - The Sinks - where the river has carved its way into an underground cavern. It completely disappears right before your eyes!
