Getting the chance to explore Wyoming’s small towns is a big part of why we love living out here. You never know what sort of hidden gem is just around the corner! Stop by the Elkhorn Bar and Grill and you’ll know exactly what we mean – you’ll walk in as a total stranger, and leave feeling like you’re part of this community.
The tiny town of Meeteetse, Wyoming is often overlooked by those planning their drives through the state. If you do find yourself way out here, take a tip from the locals and plan to enjoy dinner at the Elkhorn Bar and Grill.
The Elkhorn Bar and Grill is more than just a restaurant in this small town. It serves as a gathering place for locals to catch up, hang out, play bingo, and dine.
Sure, it's a great place to stop in for a cinnamon roll and a cup of chili in the winter, but the Elkhorn is so much more than a traditional Wyoming saloon.
Unlike most small towns in this landlocked state, the Elkhorn has a reputation for serving up delicious seafood dishes! If you happen to stop by when there's a shrimp dish on the menu, you've got to try it.
Much of the menu is based on old fashioned home cooking, with a twist. This fried green tomato BLT is one of the tastiest sandwiches you can find in Wyoming!
Follow this small-town bar and grill on Facebook, here. Come in for bingo and meet the town, or just enjoy a meal that’s sure to impress even the most finicky foodie.
