With overnight temperatures as low as -2 F in Rock Springs tonight, and as low as -10 F up in Sheridan, you'll want to make sure to bring in your pets and protect livestock from freezing.

The National Weather Service advises that if you must travel today, you give yourself plenty of time to reach your destination. Make sure you're prepared with an emergency kit, and if you're traveling on rural roads, have chains or four-wheel drive.

With Wyoming's famous wind, temps across the state will be well below zero. If you must go outdoors, wear appropriate clothing to avoid frostbite and hypothermia.
