The Railroad expanding into Wyoming made it possible for Americans to travel throughout the Cowboy State and get to see the wonderful landscapes that we call home. Here's a photo from the 1860s showing construction of a bridge over Green River.
Speaking of Green River, did you know the first successful trip down through the Colorado River began here? In 1869, John Wesley Powell led a trip that began in Wyoming and completed a route through the Grand Canyon.
