Wyoming is full of historic towns, but there’s nothing quite like seeing the Old Trail Town itself. This curated village of antique buildings is one of the most interesting places in the Rocky Mountains, and you’ve got to plan a trip to see it this year.
Just outside of Cody, Wyoming lies the unique Old Trail Town.
Don't forget to visit the 1880s Rivers Saloon, originally built near Meeteetse. This cowboy outpost was once a hotspot for miners, outlaws, and other characters. It's the oldest saloon in northwest Wyoming.
Each of the more than two dozen historic buildings that makes its home here tells a story, and you'll walk through years of Wyoming history in just a few hours.
