Laramie has a fantastic restaurant scene, and if you ask around, one place is recommended again and again. What makes Born in a Barn stand out from all of the other fantastic restaurants in town? Well, they serve up delicious smoked meats and the best BBQ around. You’ve got to try it to see for yourself!
From the outside, Born in a Barn looks like any other downtown restaurant in Wyoming. When you walk past, though, and get a whiff of the aroma coming from inside, you'll really want to stop in!
While everything served up here is divine, their slow-smoked meats and BBQ-inspired cuisine has made Born in a Barn a standout in the Wyoming culinary scene.
You're going to want to start off with an appetizer, and you can't go wrong whether you're ordering their chili cheese tots or "barnchos" loaded with smoked pork, bacon, jalapeños, onion, cheese, and their house-made spicy BBQ.
The burgers are a local favorite, and it's easy to see why. They're served with two quarter-pound beef patties and served on a house-made bun, and piled high with the toppings of your choice.
The menu is impressive on its own, but Born in a Barn outdoes itself with a fantastic tap list, too. Order a craft brew to pair with your burger or BBQ and you'll be smiling ear-to-ear.
