When you’re traveling through western Wyoming this year, be sure to stop by the stunning restaurant hidden at the National Museum of Wildlife Art. This world-class museum is worth a visit alone, but when you realize that one of Wyoming’s best restaurants is tucked away here, with views of the National Elk Refuge, you’ll understand why Palate needs to go on your bucket list.
The National Museum of Wildlife Art is tucked in a mountainside on the outskirts of Jackson.
Inside the museum, you'll find thousands of examples of stunning wildlife-inspired art. From sculptures, to displays, to paintings and photographs, the museum is packed with impressive creations.
There's nothing quite like dining here in December, though, when the kitchen re-invents its winter menu and fresh snow covers the land as far as the eye can see.
Palate at the National Wildlife Museum re-opens for the season on December 1st, 2018. The restaurant is located at 2820 Rungius Rd, Jackson, WY 83001, and their normal hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., seven days a week. Be sure to visit while you’re in Jackson this winter! The food and the views are something you’ll never, ever forget.
