Throughout Wyoming, you’ll find historic restaurants, cafes and diners that help tell the tale of one of America’s wildest states. Even in Cheyenne, you might be surprised by what you stumble upon! The famous Luxury Diner is one such place, where the only thing better than the breakfast they serve is the story behind the restaurant itself.
Cheyenne's Luxury Diner is known for serving up the best breakfast around, but did you know about its fascinating history?
For 12 years, it carried Wyomingites through the city to their destinations, until it was retired from service in 1926. Since then, it's been parked on West Lincolnway and took on a new life of its own.
Today, you can dine in the trolley car that's over 100 years old. The owners have worked hard to preserve the feel of Cheyenne's Trolley Car restaurant, and you can certainly tell you're eating some place special.
In 2001, the Luxury Diner was expanded to fit another dining room onto the original Trolley Room, but the historic and unqiue feel of the restaurant was certainly preserved.
