Spring is in the air, and Wyoming is bursting with the color of wildflowers. When you’re looking for an easy trail to kick off your hiking season, look no farther than Leigh Lake, where you’ll run into fields and fields of stunning wildflowers as you hike in an incredible viewpoint.
The Leigh Lake Trail is one of the easiest, most popular trails in Grand Teton National Park.
Though the Leigh Lake trail is an easy way to see some of the best wildflowers in the Tetons, more adventurous hikers can continue their journey and follow any of the additional trails that connect - like the Paintbrush Canyon Trail.
Cascade Canyon is another nearby spot where you'll find yourself surrounded by Wildflowers, but the hike through the Canyon to Lake Solitude is a much longer journey.
Along with stunning wildflowers, your view of the mountains from the shoreline will take your breath away. You can find a map of the trail from the NPS right here
