It can be overwhelming to choose a campground in Yellowstone National Park, because each one offers something that you’ll want to see up close. If you’re looking for a centrally located site with beautiful views and up-close wildlife encounters, try Bridge Bay. Not only is it the largest campground in the park, but it’s right on Yellowstone Lake!
Bridge Bay is the largest campground in Yellowstone, and with more than 430 sites, it's often more populated than most of Wyoming's small towns.
Whether you see mule deer, moose, bison, or even a bear, it's important to observe from a distance and practice safe food storage. The rangers in the area can teach you all you need to know to keep you and the animals safe.
At the end of the day, there's nothing quite like settling down at your campground after exploring the park and whipping up a big, hearty cookout meal.
