Visit This Haunting Wyoming Ghost Town With An Eerie And Tragic Past If You Dare
Wyoming’s history is full of stories of towns that attracted hundreds seeking a new life – only to be mysteriously abandoned years later. One such town is (mostly) still standing, and although it hasn’t been home to anyone in decades, it’s an eerily beautiful place to visit if you’re looking to get close with your home state’s history.

At its peak, it was home to more than 200 people. People chose to vacation in the area as well as make their living in the mines and hospitality industry.

In 1905, there was a mine explosion that rocked the valley, and rattled those who still worked in the industry. In 1907, an avalanche hit the area, destroyed several buildings and killed three people. At that point, many people still living in Kirwin packed their bags and left, determined to get away from a seemingly cursed town.

It's easy to spend hours wandering around here, but be careful. There have been many reports of strange noises and sights with no explanations.
