Wyoming is full of natural wonders, and the beautiful Green River Lakes is one spot that’s still under the radar and waiting to be explored by kayakers and nature lovers in Wyoming.
You'll find the Green River Lakes in the Wind River Range, near Pinedale, Wyoming.
Nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts return year after year to enjoy the quiet beach and beautiful lodgepole pines of this bright and sunny campground, where each site offers a view that's sure to take your breath away.
Most people who come to Green River Lakes do so to drop in and paddle through the lake. A boat launch makes it easy to get your non-motorized boats in the water.
While canoeing and kayaking is the most popular way to enjoy the lake, visitors can also explore miles of beautiful trails in the area, as well as pristine fishing conditions.
The campground and lake itself is still lightlly trafficked. It's quite a journey to get here - more than an hour from Pinedale or Daniel, and the road getting in can be a bumpy ride!
