Wyomingites are lucky people. We have the most gorgeous scenery in the world just a short drive away, and when the weather cooperates, there’s no better place to be than Grand Teton National Park. Even in the busy summer months, it’s easy to find a remote trail where nobody will be around to bother you. While the following trail does get swamped when school lets out, plan to visit in the spring, early summer, or fall to have the place nearly all to yourself.
Truly, Jenny Lake is one of the most breathtaking sights on earth. When you visit, though, don't just stay on the shore.
When you dock, you'll be looking straight up at the towering Tetons, and you'll have a choice between following the trail to Cascade Canyon, or to Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point.
Along the way, you'll want to stop and take in the beauty. Dozens of small cascades line the trail, bringing snowmelt down from the mountains into the lake and nearby streams.
As you hike higher and higher into the Tetons, look around! The views up here are unbeatable, and there's a good chance you'll spot at least one Black Bear.
The stunning view from Inspiration Point shows you the wilderness of Grand Teton National Park and gorgeous Jenny Lake, and this moment is one you will remember for the rest of your life.
