Why is it illegal to take a picture of a rabbit in Wyoming? No one seems to know why this seasonal law was ever in effect. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with Wyoming trapping regulations. Don't worry this photo was taken in August - perfectly legal.

2. It's illegal for women to stand within five feet of a bar while drinking.

3. Any person who fails to close a gate is subject to a fine of up to $750.

Crazy? Maybe so, but it is so all livestock on private property remain contained for their well-being and for the well-being of others.
4. Photographing pollution is illegal in Wyoming.

This is a relatively new law passed last year that makes it a crime to gather data regarding the condition of the environment with the intention of sharing it with the state or federal government. And yes, a photo is considered data. The law seems to be protecting polluters from prosecution and making it a crime to collect evidence against them.
5. Scouting for wildlife with drones during hunting season is now illegal in the state of Wyoming.

This law bans the use of unmanned drones and piloted aircraft in scouting game animals from August 1st to January 31st. This is due to the fact that it goes against fair-chase principles because it just isn't fair to the animals or the hunters.
