Wyoming is full of wonders, and those of us who live here know that there’s no place like it on earth. Visit the world’s largest mineral hot springs to see one of the most interesting spots in the state – the incomparable Hot Springs State Park in Wyoming.
Hot Springs State Park is the perfect place to spend a day!
You can enjoy sprawling, panoramic views of the Big Horn River from several overlooks within the park. Bring a picnic lunch and truly relax in the beauty of nature.
An unexpected sight in Hot Springs State Park is bison! If you didn't know any better, you would think you've been transported back in time to the plains. These bison are one of Wyoming's largest herds.
Before you leave town, be sure to find the Tepee Fountain. This unique piece of art was created by early Wyoming residents who piped the hot water straight up and let it leave mineral deposits as it evaporated.
The next time you’re seeking a truly awesome place to explore, be sure to head to Thermopolis and check out this one Wyoming park that seems the have it all!
