You’ll find some of the best restaurants hiding right here in Wyoming’s small towns and mountains. One historic Wyoming restaurant is tucked into Medicine Bow National Forest, and after just one visit, you’ll fall in love with both the landscape and the food.
Woods Landing Resort is nestled into the foothills of Medicine Bow National Forest in the tiny mountain town of Jelm.
This charming getaway began as a saloon in 1883. It was located at the intersection of three different roadways, which made it popular with those traveling though.
The dance hall floor is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was made with hand hewn logs and underneath the floor, box car springs give it bounce.
The meals served up every night reflect the multi-cultural backgrounds of the miners, lumberjacks, and immigrants that have lived and worked in the Wyoming mountains.
If you're feeling a bit snowed in, take advantage of the affordable lodging here and treat yourself to a bit of a longer stay. You can't go wrong here at Woods Landing.
The Woods Landing Resort offers lunch and dinner daily, and a delicious breakfast every Sunday. Since they keep seasonal hours, you can call 307-745-5770 for more information or check their Facebook page, here.
A visit to this secluded Wyoming restaurant is just the thing you need to add to your bucket list this year!
