When it comes to big meals, Wyoming is no stranger to enormous portions. It’s not unusual to see a steak so big it falls off the plate, or order a burger and only be able to get through half of it. Most Wyoming foodies know about the Ring of Fire Challenge that involves 16 burger patties and whole bunch of spice, but did you know there’s another an equally gigantic burrito being served in Wyoming? Read about the Solar Eclipse burrito in Cheyenne below.
Galaxy Cafe is a little food court spot in the Frontier Mall, but it's hiding a pretty big surprise.
This space themed cafe boasts an impressive menu featuring panini, hot dogs, sandwiches, coffee, tea, and other breakfast, lunch, and dinner offerings.
Made with three flour tortillas stuffed to the brim with rice, pork, chicken, cheese, beans, topped with more cheese, more beans, sour cream and guac... this 8 pound monster is a sight to see.
Over 40 people have fallen to the Burrito challenge after they couldnt scarf down the whole thing, and only one person has come out victorious in the challenge so far.
Zachary Miller tried and failed the challenge twice before the third time was a charm! He became the first and so far, only) person to eat the entire burrito last May.
The Frontier Mall is located at 1400 Dell Range Blvd., Cheyenne, WY 82001, and Galaxy Cafe is right in the food court. They’re open every day from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., or 6 p.m. on Sunday when the mall closes.
