When the building was completed in 1905, it was originally the Hotel Becker. The hotel's restaurant was called Le Barron's, and it brought travelers and diners in from afar. When it changed hands, it was renamed The Hotel Albany. From there, the restaurant shifted from The Depot Exchange Cafe, to the Kabis Cafe, and to the Stockman's Bar. By 1942, the current owners had taken control, and a Wyoming dynasty had begun.
