This Waterfall Canyon Cave In Wyoming Is Worthy Of A Little Adventure
Wyoming is full of natural beauty, and some of our most stunning National Forests get overlooked. Caribou-Targhee National Forest sits on the border of Wyoming and Idaho, and there’s one canyon trail that will take you straight into a waterfall cave.
You can find the trail map, with directions to the trailhead, right here. Though it is just a 7 mile trail out and back, don’t try to tackle this hike alone. It is so much better when you share the experience! Carry bear spray, as this is grizzly country, and be well equipped for a challenging hike.
The best time to tackle Darby Canyon is between late spring through early fall. You’ll fall in love with the beautiful wildflowers along the way.
