Wyoming is a gem of a state, and there are thousands of beautiful alpine lakes that show off their crystal clear water to anyone who wants to make the journey. One mountain hike in particular is worth the effort, and you’ll enjoy a stunning overlook as well as an up-close experience when you hike to Crater Lake, Wyoming.
You’ll find the trailhead by traveling 11 miles south from Arlington, on Forest Road #111, and then 1.5 miles south on Forest Road #101 before continuing 2 miles northeast on Primitive Road #113. You can also find a trail map from AllTrails, here.
