If you’re looking for a day trip idea this fall in Wyoming, why not plan a trip out to Casper? You’re sure to find something for everyone in this historic mountain town. Visit in the fall to enjoy fewer crowds and stereotypical wild Wyoming weather.
The road to Casper may be a long one, but the little city is worth the drive from anywhere in the state. In the fall, it's a particularly pretty place to be!
... to the retro America Movie Palace, you'll find plenty of things to do. The Movie Palace has been updated to have comfortable reclining seats and offers a variety of award-winning films.
Head to the outskirts of town to find the National Historic Trails Center, which offers a glimpse of Wyoming's settler history and tells the tale of those who lived here first. The center also offers an amazing view.
Speaking of views - the Pathfinder Reservoir and Dam is worth a stop on your way out of town! It's southwest of the city and a must-see any time of year.
