If you’re looking for the best little campground in Fremont County, it’s hard to beat the forest service site at Brooks Lake. Bring everything you need for a trip in the wilderness and you’ll make memories with your family that will last a lifetime.
The Brooks Lake Campground is tucked away in Shoshone National Forest in the shadow of the Pinnacle Buttes.
The road to get out here is scenic but desolate. Many people come this way to enjoy a peaceful retreat at the luxury Brooks Lake Lodge, right next to the campground.
Anyone staying at this campground in Fremont County, though, is looking for a more rustic stay. The site is right on the lake and run by the Forest Service.
Your whole family is sure to enjoy your stay along this beautiful shoreline. Remember, though - you're in bear country, so follow local regulations in regards to storing food.
There's nothing like sleeping under the stars in one of the most remote places in Wyoming, so plan a camping trip at Brooks Lake for an unforgettable experience.
