As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
Is there anything better than fresh, thick cut, smoked bacon? While most people would say that sounds perfect as it is, Wyomingites know that you can, in fact, make bacon better by adding some sugar and spice. The famous Pig Candy at Cafe Genevieve has perfected the art of turning savory bacon into a sweet treat. Check it out!
Cafe Genevieve is a charming cabin restaurant in Jackson, Wyoming, and a visit should truly be on your bucket list.
The Cafe is named after Genevieve Lawton, who married a man who kept this cabin as a mercantile. In 1920, Genevieve and four other Wyoming women were elected to the Jackson town council, forming the first all-woman government in the United States.
The historic cabin is now a cafe, serving up breakfast, lunch, and dinner just one block away from Jackson's town square.
Whether you're a local, or you're just visiting, you'll find friendly faces welcoming you to this charming little cottage. Sit down and order up - you'll be so impressed with the local flavor featured in every dish.

Whether you visit for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you'll be able to choose from dishes made with locally sourced ingredients, all prepared fresh in house.
Order chicken and waffles if you want to try one of their most noteworthy dishes. If you're looking for something lighter, order a salad, sandwich, or wrap. For an elegant meal, try their elk sirloin. You can't go wrong!
This sugar-and-spice coated bacon is perfect as an appetizer, Bloody Mary topping, or an anytime snack. You can order it at the cafe, or pick up a bag to bring home.
The Cafe ships bags and boxes of Pig Candy across the country, so if you're looking for a gift idea, it's the perfect unique treat!
