If you ever think that you’ve done all there is to do in Wyoming, think again! The Cowboy State is always hiding something for you to discover. One of our more recent adventures took us to the gorgeous and underrated Brinton Museum, tucked out of the way in the small town of Big Horn. Enjoy a beautiful mountain view, delicious food, and a glimpse at history at this gorgeous and unique museum and cafe.
You'll find the Brinton at the foothills of the Bighorn Mountains. From the property, you'll take in stunning views of the mountains and high prairie for as far as the eye can see!
The museum itself is worth a visit on its own. It's a contemporary art museum that captures the culture of eastern Wyoming, depicted across all sorts of mediums.
After viewing all of the artwork from paintings to sculptures, you'll have a newfound appreciation for the people, cultures, and scenery of your home state.
After you've roamed the halls and taken it all in, have a seat at the Bistro and spend some time discussing all of the things you saw and learned in your journey through the musuem.
The menu consists of elegant cafe offerings as well as traditional comfort foods, and it's seasonally inspired so it rotates based on what's fresh and in-season.
On a nice day, be sure to ask for a table outside. The fresh mountain air and panoramic view makes their patio one of the best places to dine in Wyoming.
