If you’re on the hunt for a beautiful and rugged trail that showcases remarkable views, make the drive up to Bighorn National Forest near Sheridan and climb to the top of the Black Mountain Lookout Tower. From way up here, you can see for miles!
You can find more information about the Black Mountain Lookout Tower and Trail on the Forest Service website. There’s a trail map on Alltrails, here, that shows just where to go for the trek to the top. There’s limited parking at the trailhead, so carpool if you’re arriving with friends, and try to get there early enough to snag a spot.
