Sometimes it seems like winter will last forever in Wyoming. It’s true that there are spots around the state where the snow never melts off entirely, but we do get to enjoy a few months of warm weather every year.
Enduring extended winters makes you extra-appreciative of spring when it finally rolls around. The landscape changes subtly bit by bit as color begins seeping into the previously drab gray and white of winter. Baby animals start appearing and all of nature seems to celebrate the change in seasons. Spring is an enchanting time to experience Wyoming, especially at these spots where it really comes alive.

Though many spots around the state still get snow through April, the downpours become wetter as the season progresses, eventually turning from snow to sleet to rain. Wyomingites don't let it get them down. We know spring is just around the corner.
