Ayres Natural Bridge Park is one of the best outdoor attractions in all of Wyoming – and that’s really saying something! This remarkable park was one of the first “roadside attractions” in the West, as it became a resting spot for wagon trains along the Oregon Trail.

You'll follow a well-maintained side road down to the park from I-25. It's an all-weather road, so even low clearance vehicles shouldn't have a problem getting to the park.

This 20-foot-high natural arch was formed by erosion over millions of years. During the time of Western settlement, immigrants used this spot as a safe haven from Indigenous tribes who were defending their land.

Today, the park is a beautiful spot for families to visit along Le Prele Creek.

You can hike to the very top of the bridge, or cross the creek on a smaller man-made bridge to get to the other side! Often times, the creek is low enough to wade through, too.
