The Popo Agie waterslide is a small waterfall located near Lander, Wyoming in Sinks Canyon State Park. To reach this epic waterslide, you have to take a short 1.5-mile hike. The trail snakes along adjacent to the Middle Fork of the Popo Agie and gently winds through aspens and Indian paintbrush.

It's a very scenic little hike but what is waiting at the end is even more spectacular. The Popo Agie Falls flows over rocks and cascades down 10 feet into a swimming hole. This is a great spot for a picnic or to cool off from the summer heat. The rush you get from sliding down the rocks into the water is an exhilarating and unforgettable experience.


To get to the Popo Agie waterslide from Lander, head southwest on Sinks Canyon Road. Park at the large gravel parking lot on the left side of the road. The trailhead is across the bridge that passes over the river. Head west and follow the trail along the river until you reach the swimming hole and waterslide.
