Traveling through Wyoming is an adventure by itself! Whether you’re driving through the scenic Snowy Range or battling the winds along the Great Divide Basin, you never really know what you’re in store for. There are so many incredible highways in the Cowboy State that you’ve got to see to believe, and driving the Beartooth Highway through the Absaroka Mountains should be at the top of your bucket list.
Be sure to check the road’s current conditions online, here, before you embark on your drive. The Absaroka Mountains can harbor wild weather, and the road occasionally closes due to snow, fire, and rockfall.
