The River Inn has been delighting customers for a very long time. It was first established back in the early 1940s, although the current building just dates to 1968.
The current owners, Art and Sue Schroeder, purchased the place in 2005 and have developed a huge following. It has even been named one of the “top ten best places to drive to in Wisconsin” by Travel Wisconsin.
When you step inside, you’ll see why. The River Inn offers the classic cozy and welcoming Wisconsin tavern experience. You’ll be greeted by the restaurant’s mascot, a cast iron rooster, and there will be a seat waiting for you at the bar.
The chicken wings are a sight to behold. They are jumbo-sized and perfectly broasted. They serve nearly 30,000 pounds of wings each year. On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday night’s you can enjoy all-you-can-eat wings served with fries, wedges, or curly fries. On other days, you can place an individual order of wings.
