1. Spurgeon Vineyards & Winery - Highland
These folks have been making wine since 1981 and produce 21 different varieties. In the southwest part of the state, this is a great option to enjoy some all-seasons sipping.

2. Simon Creek Vineyard & Winery - Sturgeon Bay
This Door County spot is fun and beautiful no matter the time of year. A great place to while away a few hours or stock up on some wine to take back to your accommodations. 3. Parallel 44 Winery - Kewaunee
This spot near Green Bay is focused on making wine that's all Wisconsin. From grape to glass, the whole process is local. They've also got a great ice wine. Hours of operation: January 1 to March 31 - Monday: 10 am to 5 pm, Friday & Saturday: 10 am to 5 pm, Sunday: Noon to 4 pm. 4. White Winter Winery - Iron River
With a name like White Winter, you know they have to embrace the colder months. Take a break from your up north ice fishing, snowmobiling or just hanging out to head over here to sample and sip away.

5. Burr Oak Winery - New Lisbon
These folks just celebrated 20 years of making great wines. Definitely plan a stop to try their delicious wines and see how the soil of this area produces some flavorful and delicious wines. Open every day from 11 am to 5 pm. Located at N5873 US Hwy 12 And 16, New Lisbon, WI 53950.
6. Staller Estate Winery - Delavan
Located near Lake Geneva, this is a perfect spot to spend a few hours warming up before heading back out to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Open 11 am - 6 pm daily June through August and Wednesday - Sunday 11 am to 6 pm September through May. Open Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day and Christmas Eve. Closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Located at W8896 County Rd A, Delavan, WI 53115.
7. Forgotten Fire Winery - Marinette
Marinette County is chock full of waterfalls that look totally different in the colder months. Why not plan a trip to see these beautiful spots and then a stop at Forgotten Fire to warm up afterwards? Winter hours are Sunday-Monday from 10 am to 3 pm, Tuesday-Friday from 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm. Located at N2393 Schacht Road, Marinette, WI 54143.
8. Falling Waters Winery - Crivitz
Please note, Falling Waters Winery has permanently closed.
If you're a person who heads up north to just relax and get away from real life for a few days, a stop at Falling Waters should be on your radar. Chill here and sample the great wines and then take some home to keep the serene feeling going. 9. Rock N' Wool Winery - Poynette
Okay, how cozy and inviting does this balcony look? There's plenty of spots to settle in with friends to relax a bit and enjoy the wine.

10. Elmaro Vineyard - Trempealeau
The Great River Road is interesting in every season and if you are heading out to check out the bald eagles, make a plan to also stop here and stock up.

11. Wollersheim Winery - Prairie de Sac
Not only is this winery stunning, but it's an easy drive from Madison and they've recently added a distillery to their repertoire. It's also a great time to check out their ice wine.
