Some of our smallest towns are actually some of our best. These tiny spots might not have a ton of residents, but they’re packed with charm and just waiting for you to come visit. Make plans to get out of town and go visit one of these small, wonderful and totally worth-a-visit spots:
1. Egg Harbor
This Door County town on the insider of the peninsula across the bay from Marinette has just 203 regular residents, but it swells in the summer as folks flock to the area.
2. Stockholm
This small town on the Mississippi has just 66 residents, but it's one of my favorite small towns in the state. There's tons of natural beauty, plus a charming small town atmosphere and one of the best Christmas celebrations you've ever experienced.
3. Cornucopia
Just 98 folks call Cornucopia home, but this town on Siskiwit Bay off of Lake Superior is one of those amazing coast towns where the year-round residents are hearty, full of good cheer and proud of their town.
4. Warrens
The Cranberry Capital has just 350 residents, but tons of cool things to do - and eat!
5. Clam Lake
Tucked into Chequamegon National Forest, this town calls itself the Elk Capital of Wisconsin. It's a gorgeous, sleepy little Northwoods town among a ton of lakes.
