Historical Stable Restaurant In Wisconsin: Quivey's Grove

Nearly as old as the state itself, Quivey’s Grove is a restaurant set-up that makes use of the buildings erected by John Mann in 1855. A successful stable owner, he built a manor home and large stable complex that still stands today. The stones come from local quarries, and the lumber is from right on their lot. This gorgeous locale was privately owned until 1979, and today the whole property is available to visit and enjoy. Quivey’s Grove offers a variety of events as well as meals and drinks in all the buildings. Visiting this stable restaurant in Wisconsin is like stepping back in time.

The house itself has large 13-foot ceilings and 18-inch thick walls. Dining here feels like you've been invited by close friends to share a meal. In warm weather, sit out on the patio and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
