Eagles Ballroom building has gone through many changes, and at one point was an athletic club that featured a gymnasium, basketball court, and 70-foot-long swimming pool.

Buckstaff Furniture in Oshkosh was founded in 1850. It produced home furniture, but was widely known as a casket and coffin company.
7. The Alexian Novitiate
The Alexian Novitiate was built as a private mansion in 1939 in Gresham (Shawano County) for a widow and her daughter from New York. It was donated to the Alexian Brothers in 1950 and became a Novitiate, or a place where young men considering the priesthood were trained.

Siren Bridge in the 1980s in Siren. Ever since, folks driving in the same area have experienced eerie sensations.
9. The Abandoned Milwaukee Solvay Coke and Gas Co.
Back before there were pipelines criss-crossing the country, natural gas was created in areas that didn’t have it naturally occurring. Built in 1906,
The Milwaukee Solvay Coke and Gas Co. built a plant on Milwaukee’s near south side. It operated until April, 1983 and the remains of the company have been abandoned ever since.

Cemeteries are often the source of tall tales and legends thanks to their inherent ties to death and the afterlife. None of us really know what happens, but plenty of folks seem to think the veil between alive and dead is a lot thinner at a cemetery.
