We are so spoiled here in Wisconsin to have some truly wonderful and beautiful inns and bed and breakfasts all across our great state that allow us to escape for a few days and explore our great state. You’ve never seen anything like Justin Trails Resort in Sparta, This 200-acre farm was first purchased in 1916 by the owner’s grandparents and the current owners, Don and Donna, have created a truly stunning, welcoming and amazing place that you’ll want to visit again and again.
Justin Trails is the perfect way to explore and enjoy the Driftless Region of Wisconsin. It's cozy and welcoming and has so many things for you to see and do.
One of the very best things about this spot is that it's dog-friendly. There are two dogs on site, but they also welcome travelers with dogs, making it even easier to get away with your very best friend.
Accommodations here range from three private cabins to multiple large suites in the main house. They also have camping, meaning there's something for everyone and lots of people can take advantage of the amenities here.
For privacy, the cabins can't be beat, but don't overlook the stunning and luxurious suites in the main house. You've never been pampered like you will be here.
Justin Trails has 200 acres for you to hike, snowshoe, ski and explore. It's a wonderful place no matter the season, which makes it a pretty amazing spot to keep in mind.
This is the perfect place to serve as a jumping off point for your trip on the Elroy-Sparta Trail, which is just minutes away, or Wildcat Mountain State Park and the Kickapoo Valley Reserve, which is 45 minutes away. There's also a horseback riding trail 10 minute away. Then you get to return to this beautiful spot to relax and unwind.
...or have Donna give you a farm tour and hang out with the llamas, Dusty and Rusty. I'm not sure how people resist Rusty's buck-toothed little face there, but frankly, he's reason enough for me to want to move in here. What a sweet face!
At the end of the day, gather at the bonfire with a glass of local wine, unwind, and experience the truly beautiful clear sky far from the light pollution of the big cities.
You'll just never run out of things to do and you'll be planning to return before you ever even check out of this welcoming, luxurious, unique and truly wonderful inn.
