There’s a whole generation of kids who grew up with Harry Potter and friends who have always wished that they, too, had woken up on their 11th birthday to a summons from Hogwarts. Alas, we muggles never had a chance. But City Lounge in Cudahy is hosting a pop-up event for the next two weeks that will let you revel in your inner badger, snake, griffin or hawk and at least pretend for a few hours that you, too, are a wizard.
Are you a Harry Potter fanatic? Have you read every book more times than you can count? Watched all the movies over and over? This wizard-themed pop-up is for you.
This special, pop-up wizard party is just two weeks long. There are events most every night, including house-specific parties.
City Lounge has done this before, so you know they'll have all kinds of fun. This was the drink menu the last time around.
The whole bar is transformed and the wizarding rules all apply.
You'll feel like you're in Hogwarts or the Leaky Cauldron as you party with all your friends.
Make sure you know what house you're in and wear your house colors to celebrate with your fellow Gryffindors, Ravenclaws, Hufflepuffs and Slytherins.
You'll love pretending you've been transported to an alternate universe and playing with all your muggle and wizard friends.
We've all wished we had gotten that letter to Hogwarts on our 11th Birthday and here's your chance to pretend you did.
Get your wands ready and plan to head out to celebrate wizards and muggles alike.
Here's the schedule of events - they start at 9 pm every night. March 23-24th - All Wizards Welcoming Party. March 30th - Themed Black & Yellow Badgers House Party (Wear your colors), March 31st - Themed Red & Yellow Griffins House Party, April 6th - Themed Blue & Silver Ravens House Party, April 7th - Themed Green & Silver Snakes House Party.
City Lounge is located at 3455 E. Layton Ave., Cudahy, WI 53110.
