This gorgeous spot was built in 1905 as a parsonage for the First Congregational Church. When they wanted to remodel, the innkeepers decided to save the building and moved it to its present location in 2002 to save it from demolition. The Rochester Inn building was built by Charles Cole, one of the most influential men in the Sheboygan area in the mid-1800s. inn was Built in 1848, the building is in the Greek Revival style. It served as a trading post and general store, and it also likely served as Sheboygan County’s only post office for a period of time. The family lived on the second floor. 5. The Franklin Victorian Bed & Breakfast - Sparta
Built in the early 1900s by a Sparta banker, Mr. W.G. Williams, this is a Queen Anne-style Victorian home that has leaded stained glass windows, fireplaces, an open staircase, original woodwork, and unique architectural features. This gorgeous house was built in the Colonial Revival Style but has a Queen Anne Layout. It was built in 1893 by Emily Baker, Robert H. Baker's widow who was one of the "Big Four" original partners of J.I.Case Company which is now known as Case New Holland. Robert H Baker was mayor of Racine in 1874. 9. Dreams of Yesteryear Bed & Breakfast - Stevens Point
This stunning spot is a Queen Anne Victorian house that's listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built in 1901 by J.L. Jensen, it was designed by architect J.H. Jeffers, who is famous for having designed the Wisconsin Exhibit for the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. Located at 1100 Brawley St., Stevens Point, WI 54481.
This sprawling 3,600 square foot home was built in 1907 by an executive from the Hamilton Manufacturing Co., who made wooden type for printing presses. Designed by Milwaukee architect Fred Graf, it's a shingle-style house that fits perfectly in the narrow lot.
